Abstract

As the fashion industry develops, naturally, more designs and trends develop. This led to an expansion of the fast fashion industry, and larger environmental impact. Because of the nature of the fast fashion industry, where trend and quantity is prioritized over quality, the fashion industry has evolved into the second largest contributor to environmental pollution. This paper addresses the environmental issues caused by the fashion industry and proposes the new approach to reduce the negative impact.
