Abstract

This article presents acombined methods Runge-Kutta algorithm and Design of Experiments (DOE)
with Taguchi methodfor determiningthe optimalparameters of the TMD. This parameter was used
toreducetorsional vibration for shaft that usedTMDaccording to the vibration off time is fastest and the rotation
is stable.The calculationsare completedon Maple 18 and Minitab 17 softwares that made reliable results
